For 6 years, Tim has served as our Director of Human Resources, where he manages all of the HR duties for the company. Tim has been in Human Resources for 26 years for a variety of different industries, such as healthcare, manufacturing, and food distribution. He believes that all opportunities he had over the course of his career have prepared him for East & Westbrook. When he was looking for an opportunity to be closer to his family, E&W welcomed him with open arms, and he says that the organization has helped shape him into a better HR professional. He has witnessed the growth that East & Westbrook has experienced over the years firsthand. When he first started in August of 2017, E&W only had 85 employees. Since then, their team has grown to 270 employees today. As the Director of Human Resources, he and his team are responsible for the hiring and development of new team members, as well as the continued development of E&W’s existing team members. They write the handbooks, the fleet manuals, and the overall rules and regulations that are designed to protect the business as well as its people. This department plays a key role in developing the overall culture of the business and ensuring that each department executes its core values with excellence. He believes that this department has the honor of setting the tone for the experience that all of its team members have. When asked what his favorite aspect of working for East & Westbrook was, he spoke about his love and appreciation for the culture. Tim said, “The culture of East and Westbrook is unlike any I have ever experienced. This is an organization that truly cares about us, and every decision is made around the seven core values, which are the non-negotiables of the business. There are several organizations that talk about being forward-thinking. This one proves it daily.” Fun Fact: Tim and his wife have been married for 24 years. He has three children, five cats, and four grandchildren.
