As the president, Jonathan oversees the entire company functions and all departments at East & Westbrook. Growing up in the business, he has been working for East & Westbrook for, what feels like, his whole life. When he was young, he would help his father with small projects, and he worked as a laborer through high school and college, which allowed him the opportunity to learn the business from the ground up. After a couple of internships in the accounting department, his career at East & Westbrook officially began when he took the role of Project Manager/Estimator. Now, serving as East & Westbrook’s president, his responsibilities include supporting the entire team as they develop relationships with their clients, vendors, and employees in order to build complex structures. His role allows him to create and promote the vision for their organization, as well as their plans for continuous improvement and growth. He ensures that the team’s strategy aligns with the needs and expectations of their valued clients. Jonathan’s favorite part of working at East & Westbrook is the variety of work that they do. He said, “We get to see all of the drivers of our economy at work, whether it is manufacturing and how things we use every day are made, or distribution and the logic required for how they get to their destinations or infrastructure and how the electricity and fuels we use are made and distributed.” He explains that there is never a dull moment, and he loves working and developing the company with an energizing team of great people and clients. Fun Fact: Jonathan has four children and is involved in a number of non-profits and community service organizations that his family and the business are passionate about.
