Ethan Althaus

Ethan is Chad’s right-hand man when it comes to business development and estimating duties. He currently represents East & Westbrook as our Vice President of Estimating for the Commercial Division. He has been in the estimating department for his entire career at East & Westbrook. He became interested in construction management while obtaining his degree in Civil Engineering and specializing in Construction Management. He pursued an internship during college and entered the construction field directly after college, working for a couple of general contractors. On a day-to-day basis, Ethan’s roles consist of estimating projects, acquiring work, customer buy-outs, maintaining and establishing new customers/relationships, and overseeing other estimators' buds within our department. He is also responsible for securing some of the larger commercial concrete projects, which include tilt-up, warehouse, healthcare, and commercial space concrete, to name a few. When asked what he loves most about working for East & Westbrook, he spoke about the inclusive team approach, encouraging comradery and care for one another, no matter what your position is within the company. He said that these aspects of East & Westbrook are unparallel to any other workplace he’s ever experienced. In Ethan’s own words, “Attitude reflects leadership, and that mantra has always resonated from the top down at E&W. It truly is a special and unique place to work. We are a family!” Fun Fact: Ethan was formerly a Division I soccer player! His love for the game still continues through watching games and coaching his daughters.
