The Tampa Electric Office Exterior Renovations project involved the demolition and reconstruction of multiple exterior concrete elements at an existing office facility in Tampa, Florida. Our client sought a dependable construction partner to enhance the building’s main entrance and perimeter access points while maintaining structural integrity, safety, and alignment with the existing architectural design.
East & Westbrook Construction Co., Inc. was selected for this project based on our expertise in structural concrete, site work, and renovation of occupied facilities. The scope of work included the complete demolition and replacement of the main “L”-shaped entrance stairs, along with the construction of new retaining walls and an extended patio area. Additional work included installing reinforced concrete footings, slab-on-grade extensions, and a vertical windscreen system designed to integrate with the existing canopy structure. The project also included the demolition and replacement of four perimeter cast-in-place stair systems located on the west, north, and south sides of the building.
Despite the complexities ofworking within an existing structure and coordinating multiple demolition andreconstruction phases, our team successfully streamlined operations andmaintained progress. By carefully sequencing work and leveraging our self-performcapabilities, we completed the project efficiently within the anticipatedtimeframe.
